Melody Bear® has come to Shining Stars!

Melody Bear is a fun loving bear who helps to introduce children to dance by using the natural actions of the body such as walking, running, jumping, skipping; etc. Classes are aimed at the 'babies' - all of whom already have a natural love of dance and movement. Taking the form of story telling, mime and make believe, the classes are an ideal introduction to the fun of dance and movement. Jill Bridger’s Melody Movement syllabus is a music and movement program of creative and inspiring pre-school dance classes that can be adapted to all abilities.

 

 

 

Melody Bear is the focal point of the Melody Movement early learning dance syllabus.  Melody Bear doesn’t always get it right first time, but she loves to dance so much, she just keeps on trying.    

Melody Bear classes run as a singular session on:
Tuesday afternoons
2.00 - 2.30
Kirby Muxloe Village Hall
£3.00 p/wk plus £7.00 registration pack

and as part of a wider session on:
Saturday mornings
10.00 - 2.00
Kirby Muxloe Free Church, Main Street, Kirby Muxloe, Leicester
£7.00 p/wk plus £3.50 registration pack (reduced cost for limited period).

     

Jill Bridger RAD Teach. Dip., AISTD Dip., MNATD is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Her Cambridgeshire School opened in 1988 with children’s classes in Melody Movement, classical ballet, tap and modern theatre dancing.
