The proprietor of 2-b Productions is Jane Buchanan. Her teachers are:

Amy Sowman (Head of Tap)

Amy has been dancing since the age of 3.  From the age of 16 she continued her dance training at Melton Mowbray college where she obtained a BTEC National diploma in Performing Arts.  During this time she performed in various dance and drama productions and continued to train at her local dance school competing in dance festivals and championships.

Amy worked as a professional dancer at various places, including a holiday village in Cornwall, before taking a break.  She most recently worked for Carnival Cruise lines on 'The Fantasy', touring the Carribean (mainly the Bahamas) as part of a team of 16 dancers and 2 singers.  There she performed in shows 'Broadway' and 'Nightclub', doing 8 shows a week.

She now teaches exclusively for 2-b Productions which she enjoys very much and hopes to continue to do so for the foreseable future.

Gemma trained for five years at the Royal Ballet School, White Lodge and was made Head Girl in her final year. She performed at the Royal Festival Hall in ‘Peter & the Wolf’ and several performances at the Royal Opera House. She continued her studies at Laine Theatre Arts before joining ‘Spirit of the Dance’ in 2002.

Gemma has also performed and choreographed for international tribute acts and featured extensively as a Dancer/Choreographer on documentaries on both channel 4 and ITV.

Gemma is now a freelance teacher and loves teaching the wonderful students at 2-b Productions.
