CHILD PROTECTION GUIDELINES

We thought it appropriate to remind you that we practise safe caring and take child safety seriously.

We would also like to assure parents that all associates of 2-b Productions of 16 years and over are aware of the Home Office Safe from Harm Guidelines and work within these.

We would ask parents of young children who are unable to manage in the toilet unaided to remain present in or just outside the building to assist their own children or toilet them before they are left in class. Only one child is allowed at a time in each cubicle. For your information, associates of 2-b Productions when taking children to the toilet promote the child to sort themselves out, and avoid actively helping where possible. They do NOT assist them to wipe themselves or pull up their pants. Some children struggle with their leotards and require help. Where possible we stay removed from the child - remaining near the door rather than in the cubicle with the child, taking care not to obstruct the main door.

No photographs or videos of children are taken or used for publicity without written parental consent.

Please notify us if your child is to be collected by someone other than yourself.

Any disclosures made by children or concerns regarding child safety will be reported through the appropriate professional channels.
